David Jackman is a retired minister, best known for founding the Cornhill Training Course in London in 1991 after 15 years in local church ministry, leading Above Bar Church in Southampton. Cornhill is a ministry of The Proclamation Trust, and is designed to train evangelical preachers in exegesis, exposition and communication skills.

David’s expository writing work includes commentaries on Joshua, Judges and Ruth, the letters of John, 1 Corinthians and the Trust’s Teaching Isaiah. He is married to Heather, and they have two children and four grandchildren.
